This Is The Future; The Future Is Now! An Outstanding Product! TEN Stars!

There are tons of adjectives I could use to describe my enthusiasm for this product --excellent; superb; impeccable; amazing and so on-- but all you really need to know is: Does it work?

TL;DR: Yes, it WORKS! It has ZERO BLOATWARE, which is a breath of fresh air with regard to pre-built machines that normally come packed with unwanted programs right out of the box. Not with Peladin. Nothing. Oops, this is "tl;dr"... So yeah, uh... anyway, this is a beast of a computer that ranks in the upper-mid-range with regard to quality and overall computing power. It's perfect for casual gamers, still very good for a mid-level gaming enthusiast, and will definitely hold its own for all but the most avid, professional gamer.

Buy with confidence!

For those seeking a bit more detail, here we go.

The CPU in this machine is an AMD Ryzen 7 7735U. All of my research indicated that this CPU ranks around the 70th percentile when it comes to the hierarchy of chip strength. I would speculate that it is comparable to an Intel i5, based on its performance in my tests. Rather than list every nuance of the CPU for you here, I will instead advise you to search any search engine for this phrase:

AMD Ryzen 7 7735U

The AMD Website will provide all the intricate details of the stat's on this CPU, for those who wish to know more.

The practical aspects of this product are abundant. There are plenty of USB ports, with the two in the back of the unit being intended for wired keyboard & mouse combos. The front panel boasts USB ports that are rated at higher speeds. There's also a headphone outlet on the front of the unit that makes sound-on-the-go effortless. It has both HDMI and DisplayPort outputs on the rear of the unit for maximum monitor compatibility. This PC can be very easily relocated or even taken on the go, as long as there's any TV waiting at its destination. Add a little keyboard, mouse and an audio headset, and you're good-to-go for any purpose.

Other stat's regarding this machine are more difficult to come by. There is no mention anywhere of the motherboard manufacturer. However, the BIOS are American Megatrends, so that's a good thing. Makes and models of the PSU, RAM, etc are also unknown, but all appear to function well.

I would prefer more RAM were preloaded into the unit. 16GB is just not enough for any modern PC. Windows 11 alone can eat up 4-6 GB of memory, leaving only 10-12 for other tasks. In my opinion, 32GB should be the minimum amount of RAM for this type of machine, with 64GB being ideal and 128GB of RAM being overkill.

One great aspect of this computer is the full accessibility of the BIOS/UEFI interface. Unlike many major brands which lock users out of all but the most basic UEFI settings, this Peladin lets the customer decide! Three cheers!

I considered a full array of benchmarks and performance stat's, but in the end it seems the better choice to just keep it to text. Such things already exist for any who seek them, and would be redundant herein.

Needless to say, I LOVE this awesome little PC!! It's fast, it's silent, it runs cool, and it hooks up to anything with the greatest of ease and simplicity. It's so good, that I am typing this review on it right this moment.

In my opinion, this product represents the future of the personal computer industry, and it's an amazing leap of innovation and ingenuity.

TEN STARS!!!

EXTREMELY highly recommended!!!

Good things come in small packages

This is a great little home computer. WIndows 11 is fantastinc and it was easy to connect. It starts up and runs quickly. Everything was easy to load. Our only complaint, and I user that term loosely, is that it connects to your wifi a "Chinest Dragon Technology." We didn't expect that and at first I was worried there had been a hack but it wasn't.

Amazing computer, would recommend to anyone who needs a computer with great specs and low cost

Honestly, for the size, budget cost, and accessibility on this mini PC this is a really amazing piece of hardware. It has great processing power handling a good amount of my steam games, and already comes with Windows 11 pro installed so you don’t have to worry about needing an activation key. With the copilot assistant it makes it slightly easier to make sure you get all the apps you want downloaded, but it comes with a cost on how much memory you’re using. I like the processing power as the integrated graphics, DDR5 ram, and ssd all work pretty well when I’m trying to run any applications. The thing is though that you only have about 12 GB of memory available at a time for some reason, its a little bit annoying since if I’m running more than 3 processes even in the background you’ll see the computer slow down. In terms of the Bluetooth connection, just don’t leave the computer in a covered setting like in a small shelf or something because then the Bluetooth connection drops sharply in strength. I wouldn’t recommend this as a gaming PC for anything intensive because I ran Minecraft on it and the fan was spinning really loudly. And the only other thing that slightly bothered me was the USB ports on the front because I found them to be pretty tight or slightly sized smaller because I feel like I have to use a bit too much force to plug in my USB drive.
In terms of all the amazing things, the amount of ports on this computer is insane. Four usb ports for any drives you want to plug in or accessories along with two more usb-c ports. I don’t have a second monitor to test the display port connection, but the HDMI output works really well as I can display it onto my 4K monitor and the frame rate/resolution works pretty well. Then theres the Windows 11 Pro pre install, which means you can just plug it in and it works straight out of the box and it gives it a lot of tips on what tools and applications to download based on what you want it for. Also another thing I like that they mention is that they put a sticker to not enter the bios, which is good so that way I don’t have to worry about adjusting bios settings to get the most performance out of the processor and memory. Next is the size, this thing is really tiny and based on the performance of it it works amazingly. It barely takes up any space and doesn’t have any antennas for the Bluetooth or WiFi connection.

Not Great for Gaming, but Good for Work

My first impression of this PC after unboxing is very good. The case is mostly made of metal, so it feels solid. It's also slightly smaller than my other mini PCs. There was a sticker over the ethernet port warning me not to plug it in until I've completed the setup. Otherwise, it could trigger a lengthy update process. I'm glad I didn't plug it in, because I spent a lot of time uninstalling Office 365 and One Note. They installed so many international versions of the app that it took quite a while to remove them all. They are trial versions, so I'm not interested in keeping them on the PC. I also did a virus scan, and the results were clean.

FAN NOISE, COOLING:
The fan noise is not the worst I've heard, but it's not quiet either. You'll definitely hear it, but you may not notice it with headphones on. The PC is sitting behind the monitor, so that helps reduce the noise. It's spinning most of the time. I can hear it whine just browsing the web. The case gets a bit hot while gaming. So, cooling is not great on this PC. If you get this for gaming, then I'd recommend ordering a router fan. You can aim it at one of the side vents. If you use it as a work PC, then it's not an issue. The case gets warm, but not hot.

GAMING PERFORMANCE:
This is not good for the latest AAA gaming. I tested it with Cyberpunk, and it's basically a 720p gaming machine. It runs at 1080p, but only one setting was marginally playable. It looks nicer than 720, but it's a bit jittery. Here are my benchmarks using the presets:

1080p:
Ray Trace Low - 12.3 fps (This was the default setting after installing the game)
Steam Deck - 22
Low - 24.9
Low + FSR3 (performance) - 29.9

720p:
Low - 39.3
Ray Trace Low - 19.6
Low + FSR3 (performance) - 46

POWER USAGE:
This CPU is very efficient. At idle the PC uses about 5 watts from the outlet. During gaming it uses about 52 watts.

SSD PERFORMANCE:
I have the 512GB version, and the read speed is very good at 2503 MB/sec. The write speed is okay at 636 MB/sec.

VERDICT:
This is a very nice PC. I like the build quality, and the performance, but I wouldn't buy it to run the latest games. It will run older games like GTA 5 just fine at 1080p, though. The biggest problem I have with this PC is the heat when you are gaming.

On the other hand, I think this makes a great home office PC. It's well built, and it uses very little power. You can leave this on all day, and not worry about your utility bill. For most office tasks, and web browsing, the case will get a little warm. Some people may find the fan noise annoying, because it is audible, and it's on most of the time, except idle. If this is a problem, then keep looking, because there are quieter mini PCs out there.

Not dual channel memory as advertised; struggles with thermals; includes Windows 11 Pro

I ordered this mini PC to use as an HTPC in my cinema room. Set up out of the box is easy because you have the option to create a local account and bypass needing a Microsoft account. This PC comes with Windows 11 Pro installed, which might be appealing to business focused users. There is a mounting bracket included that can attach to the VESA mount on the back of a TV or monitor, and it lets you hang the computer with two screw-in brass pegs.

My version came with a 512GB NVMe SSD and a single stick of 16GB 4800 DDR5 RAM. The listing description says this has dual channel memory but that is not the case. Mine only has a single channel of RAM, which is unfortunate, because this has an integrated GPU that relies on system memory. A second stick of DDR5 would significantly help performance by as much as 20%. At the time of writing, a second matching ram stick runs about $40 USD, so I would recommend just getting the upgraded 32GB RAM/1TB SSD version from the start.

After installing all Windows updates I switched Window's power mode from Balanced to Max Performance and ran a series of tests. In Cinebench R23 it scored 10328 pts in multi-core and 1493 pts in single core. I was using HWmonitor to record temps and performance. The CPU did hit just over 90c at one point, which is quite hot. Even in the BIOS menu the CPU idles around 45c. For most Windows tasks the CPU is around 55-65c. I believe the heat has to do with a lack of intake for the blower fan, as the motherboard blocks half of the intake holes. Despite the poor thermals, it still maintained 3.2GHz on all cores during multi-core testing with an average temperature around 80c.

The BIOS is locked down, so there is not a lot you can do by way of over/under clocking or setting fan curves. The computer uses a standard 19 volt, 3.5 amp laptop power supply. I really appreciate that this includes a 7735U CPU and not just a 7535U CPU, although the latter would probably have run cooler and been a smarter choice for this cooling package.

Overall I think the value is actually the biggest appeal to this mini PC. Most 7735U laptops start well over $500. You could buy this 7735U mini PC and a 144Hz 24" monitor for less than $500, and then use the included mount to mount the PC to the back of the monitor, and you'd have a really nice AIO style computer for cheaper than the price of a laptop with way better screen! As an HTPC this is also a great option, although most streaming service providers' lack of 4K UHD support on the Window's platform has essentially killed-off the HTPC.
