Nice size pc and color. It runs a little hot if you have to much connected to it. Overall good product for the price.
I bought this computer for my wife, she has an older computer and this one very fast and easy to used and setup my wife love it's
Let customers speak for us
from 528 reviewsThis mini PC is great. Now, I'm not a gamer so I can not speak of it on how it handles gaming, but it's great so far as a desktop computer. The boot time is basically instant, no lag. Processing standard apps, web browsing, etc. is great. I like that they integrated a 2.5" drive holder into the cover to be able to add a secondary HDD. Yes, you could add a second m.2 drive if you use a 2.5" m.2 drive carriage to SATA. The other great little feature I've found is that the cover of the PC is held on magnetically. No need to find a screw drive to open it up. The CPU fan is quiet but like any CPU fan, it will speed up when the CPU calls for it but even then, it basically sounds no different than a laptop CPU fan speeding up.
I had a 6-7 year old laptop I was ready to replace. I had a spec list I didn’t want to compromise on and most of the laptops I was finding that met my specs were in the $600 range at best. A friend threw out the idea of a mini pc and I initially ignored it because I didn’t think there were any out there that I’d like.
Little did I know how much the mini pc ecosystem had grown in recent years. I did a lot of research on which one fit my needs and had a good price tag and I landed on this model.
Several things I love about it. 1. This maker does not fill up the pc with bloatware bs and trial software. 2. It is very fast and reliable. 3. It has the ability to expand its storage. I got a board that holds 2 m2 sata drives and mounts in the slot for a 2.5” sata drives and set up a 1 tb raid drive for it (2 1 tb drives).
To have that much functionality in this footprint is pretty awesome. I would absolutely buy this product again and have recommended to several people. This is not a fake/paid review. I bought this product and see it as a tremendous value for the price.
We were tired of getting stuck watching youtube ads on our firestick and we wanted to be able to watch youtube on the tv via a computer with adblock plus. We ordered this Peladn's WI-6 mini pc, I installed ubuntu 22.04 so I can actually watch youtube whenever I want without waiting an hour for windows updates to brick my computer, then hooked it up to our 60 inch living room tv with hdmi. This thing is surprisingly fast and the hdmi output is just as good as what we were getting out of the firestick. I'm going to find an excuse to buy several more of these. Very good device for the price.
We have been replacing our 12 year old desktops (about 40 of them) with these little machines (Peladn WI-6) which is very fast and now these Peladn HO Series machines. The SEI Series comes with an NVME drive which is about 5 times faster read speed than the Beelink U57 which has a regular SSD. The regular SSD is quite fast, but the NVME drives are like lightning! They come with Windows 10 Pro which is a nice bonus for our business needs. We have only had these machines for a month or so, but I'm hoping they will last. We will probably recoup the cost of them in a few months on electricity alone! The seller shipped out right away and I received them in very good condition.
I never thought that gaming on an iGPU would be realistic beyond casual 2D games, but the Radeon 680M is up to the task. As a quick test, I booted up Gears of War 4 as it was the easiest AAA title I could access without a bunch of client installs. I know it isn't a recent title, but I was anxious to try this mini PC out. With the HA-4 having its stock out of the box settings (i.e. 3GB dedicated to graphics memory) and using the Gears' automatic recommended settings (which was a mix of mostly High with some Ultra and Medium settings scattered about at 1920x1080) I booted up a save in the first half of the game and was running in the 45-50FPS range while in combat. I find that simply amazing from a technical standpoint.
Physically, the HA-4 is quite hefty for being so diminutive, but being all metal will have that effect. The RGB lighting is quite nice for what it is as it is well diffused and tastefully implemented. The inclusion of a VESA hangar is a nice touch. WiFi and Bluetooth connected seamlessly and had no issues.
I did have an issue with a Windows Update selection being greyed out within the installed Windows 11 Pro that required me to reset the group policy to allow me to receive updates for other Microsoft products (it's under Advanced Options within the Windows Update settings). It was a simple task, but one that I've never had to do before and found that odd.
The only negative I could possibly say is that the installed cooling fan is quite loud when it gets wound up. Under idle, it is fine, but this is a reasonably powerful CPU and iGPU inside a small, small case. Something has to give and if you can't fit a large heatsink, the only thing left to do is increase the airflow. Under gaming loads it is very noticeable, but I don't really think that is unexpected.
The 680M is the star of the show here and there's really only one iGPU (its successor) that is comparatively better for integrated gaming. If you can deal with or otherwise manage (by relocating the mini PC perhaps) the fan noise, this is a compact and inexpensive means into PC gaming.
I bought this PC because my work supplied computer is completely inadequate for my job. I needed something inexpensive that could handle multiple 400-600 page pdfs with a ton of mark-ups. My old PC had trouble with 1 pdf. Today I had this PC running 6 of these documents, 4 viewable at the same time. Best day I have had at work in years! My work PC is a Lenovo Tiny, this one feels like half the weight, so very portable.
Gotta give props to the customer service as well. The operating system was home version instead of pro, had the needed file and instructions less then 12 hours later to fix the issue.
Overall I am very happy with my purchase, out of the box!
I bought this because of the dual Ethernet ports, and it seems to always be on sale. After a few weeks of searching, I wasn't able to find another product that offered the same performance for the price point ($269). I have Google Fiber 1 gigabit internet, and my old router wasn't cutting it. I bought this mini-PC for the sole purpose of using it as a home lab and to try my hand at setting up Opnsense. You can boot into BIOS by spamming the DEL key at startup and completely bypassing the Windows setup. I reformatted the NVME immediately for openBSD (Linux) and installed OPNSense in about 15 minutes. Opnsense identified the Ethernet interfaces immediately, and I did not need to install any drivers. After switching my RAX10 Netgear router into AP mode (not bridge mode; I made that mistake and had to reset it), I plugged it into the LAN port, and it worked immediately. I installed Adguard Home for DoH DNS and adblocking. The hardware is probably overkill, but there is a night-and-day difference. Before using this as my router, I got maybe 200 Mbps of download and around 9–30 Mbps of upload over wireless, 500–600 Mbps of download, and 20–30 Mbps of upload over Ethernet. (I have about 10 devices connected to the old router at any given time.) After using this mini PC as my router, I get a consistent 500–900 Mbps over wireless and a 300–900 Mbps upload. Over Ethernet, I've seen a consistent 990 mbps download and 990 mbps upload. My old router was clearly the weak link here. I wouldn't recommend using this mini-PC for a hardware router if your speeds are greater than 1 gig. The 1 gigabit Ethernet port will clearly be a bottleneck. For the price, it beats any netgear wifi router by a mile. Pair it with a TP-LINK Switch, and you have a makeshift home lab that'll run anything you need.
A compact, quality built, speedy, quiet little fella. Installed the latest Ubuntu (24.04 LTS), dual boot (kept originally installed Win11). Running flawless my media center, servers.... Purchased one more yesterday. Highly recommended!
I’m a big Minecraft person who has been living off 8 GB laptops for years now. I turn this thing on, pull my 300+ mod server from my old laptop over, start it up, and it’s running with ease at only 1-2% CPU and 5% RAM usage. I then hop on the server on the same machine, just to see that it can handle the server and client, and even when loading new chunks at massive rates, this thing keeps up without hardly exceeding 5-10% CPU and 10-20% RAM usage. I’ve also tested with other software development tools like Unity and Rider as well as running Ark and I’ve had no lag, no issues, and very low stats the entire time. Bought about a week ago and every test I’ve thrown at it (within reason for a Mini PC) has passed with flying colors. I can’t say anything bad about it except having low storage, which is pretty simple to solve with an additional SSD. Definitely highly recommend giving this thing a try if you’re looking for your first Mini PC.
This mini PC is well made. It can easily be opened to add upgrades. The build construction is excellent and it has a better heatsink than expected. It weights more than my other mini PC, but that's because of the heatsink used etc. Running this under full load is not an issue, and during CPU/GPU benchmarks and stress test I ran, I did not have any overheating problems or excessive thermal throttling. As with all stress test, some thermal throttling will occur due to the design of mini PCs, but this PC is far better than other mini PCs I own.
The iGPU is amazing compared top others I have used. This is more than capable at 1080p for every game I threw at it. I loaded my Steam account and tried Stray, Elden Ring, and Baldurs Gate 3. All ran great with no issues. No this is not going to allow you to play high resolutions at 4k, but for a 1080p game PC this works great.
Overall, this is by far the best mini PC I have tested. If you are looking for a small factor PC that is versatile for everyday usage, casual gaming, and some workstation tasks then this is an excellent choice for the price.
I purchased this mini computer to replace a big desktop. I mostly use my computer for home office and video streaming services (I haven't had cable TV for years). The computer runs quietly and is usually in use 12 to 16 hours a day. I love the speed of the SSD drive for the operating system and the dual HDMI outputs allow me to use two monitors. I'm not a big gamer so I didn't rate the computer for gaming but I've already recommended this system to some of my crew.
I bought this computer for my wife, she has an older computer and this one very fast and easy to used and setup my wife love it's
I replaced a docked surface pro 4 with this and I've been very pleased. It's powerful enough that I have been playing Baldur's Gate 3 on it with only the occasional lag which for a turn-based game, does not affect gameplay.
Things I Love: This thing is FAST. I am using it to run TrueNAS Scale mini-home lab. The two 2.5G/b ports make it great to connect to my 2.5G/b switch, then I have my plex server replicating to the storage pool I built for the thing. The other thing though is that this thing has enough cores to not only run my Truenas Scale instance, but Nextcloud and a bunch of other docker containers. You can even adjust the power & fan speed settings in BIOS. It's a neat conversation starter with the little RGB ring around the top too. I think I might put some more ram in, but for now it's working great!
Things I wish it had: I wish the ports on the back were 3.1 (they are 2.0) and I wish there were two USB4 ports on the device. In all, you only get 1 USB-C 4.0 port and two 3.1 ports, which is fine with my little USB 3.1 J-Bod for the storage.
